The SDI Instructor Evaluation Course (IEC) is the final step in becoming a certified SDI Open Water Scuba Instructor. During the IEC, candidates demonstrate the teaching skills, knowledge, and professionalism developed during the Instructor Development Course.
Conducted by an independent SDI Instructor Evaluator, the IEC confirms that candidates are ready to safely teach and mentor new divers while maintaining SDI training standards and professional expectations.
Successful completion of the IEC results in certification as an SDI Open Water Scuba Instructor, allowing you to begin teaching SDI courses worldwide.

Prerequisites
- Successful completion of the SDI Instructor Development Course

What to Expect
