This World War II bomber crash-landed in the waters off Togean Island in 1945. Today, it rests almost completely intact on the sandy seabed at 15-25 meters, offering divers an incredible glimpse into history. The wreck features its starboard wing touching the sea floor, with the tail and one of its propellers still remarkably intact. Diving this site, you'll not only experience a fascinating piece of wartime history but also encounter the marine life that now calls this wreck home.
Other Dive Sites:
- Lembeh Strait: Known for its unique critters and volcanic black sand.
- Bualemo Peninsula: Home to colorful soft corals and an abundance of marine life.
- Togean Islands: Featuring atolls, barrier reefs, and fringing reefs teeming with sharks, rays, and vibrant corals.
Additional Experiences:
- Land Tours: Explore Raja Ampat's Penemu Viewpoint and the Tangkoko Batuangus Nature Reserve in North Sulawesi. Spot tarsiers, macaques, and other wildlife in their natural habitats.
Important Notes:
- Please arrange to arrive in Manado the day before embarkation. Domestic flights in Indonesia can be delayed or rescheduled, so it’s safer to fly in early.
