SDI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver

SDI Specialty Course

SDI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver

A Diver Propulsion Vehicle, or DPV, can open up a completely different kind of dive. Instead of spending the whole dive kicking from one point to another, a DPV allows you to cover more area, conserve energy, and experience the underwater world in a faster and more efficient way.

The SDI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver course teaches certified divers how to safely plan, operate, and manage a DPV in a non-overhead environment. This course focuses on control, planning, buddy procedures, battery management, gas awareness, and how to handle common DPV problems before they become serious.

Cover more ground, reduce effort, and learn how to use a DPV with the planning, control, and awareness required to do it safely.
