Divemaster Development Course – Unique to Scuba Adventures

Are you ready to take the next step in your scuba diving journey and become a leader in the dive community? At Scuba Adventures, we offer a unique, combined NAUI & SDI Divemaster Development Program designed to prepare you for the responsibilities of a Divemaster and beyond.

Course Overview:

This comprehensive program is taught by both NAUI Instructors and SDI Instructor Trainers, giving you a robust foundation in both agencies' teaching methods and dive philosophies. By integrating the best practices from both organizations, our program ensures you are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the diving industry.

Why Choose This Course?

  • Dual Agency Certification: Upon completion, you will receive NAUI Divemaster certification and have the unique opportunity to crossover directly to SDI Assistant Instructor. This dual certification broadens your teaching scope and enhances your career opportunities.
  • Personalized Instruction: With a low student-to-instructor ratio, our course ensures you receive personalized guidance and feedback throughout your training.
  • Comprehensive Training: You will experience in-depth theoretical knowledge sessions, practical teaching workshops, and rigorous water training, all aimed at honing your leadership, dive supervision, and safety management skills.

Course Components:

  • Theory and Classroom Sessions: Learn advanced dive theory, dive planning, leadership techniques, and dive physics. You’ll gain an understanding of both NAUI and SDI standards and how to apply them in real-world scenarios.
  • Confined Water Training: Practice key Divemaster-level skills in a controlled environment, focusing on leading dives, assisting instructors, and handling problem-solving scenarios.
  • Open Water Training: Conduct supervised training dives in real-world conditions, where you will practice supervising divers, leading underwater tours, and assisting in rescue drills.
  • Professional Development: Gain experience in teaching and assisting with classes, conducting dive briefings, and overseeing dive operations.

Crossover to SDI Assistant Instructor:

Once certified as a NAUI Divemaster, you can crossover to SDI Assistant Instructor, further enhancing your teaching capabilities. This unique crossover opportunity allows you to seamlessly transition into the SDI system and expand the range of courses you can assist with or teach under direct supervision.
