ADMINISTRATION COURSE
When a diving emergency happens, oxygen is the single most important first aid tool available. The difference between panic and preparedness is training. This course equips you to recognize dive-related injuries and confidently administer emergency oxygen while waiting for EMS.
Who This Is For:
Certified divers, dive professionals, boat captains, instructors, dive buddies, and anyone who wants to be prepared to respond effectively in a diving emergency.
What You’ll Learn
- How oxygen benefits divers with suspected decompression illness
- Recognition of dive-related injuries and symptoms
- Scene assessment and activation of emergency medical services
- Proper setup and operation of emergency oxygen units
- Delivery methods: demand valve, non-rebreather mask, and pocket mask
- Care for both breathing and non-breathing divers
Certification: First Response O2 Administration certification upon successful completion.
Format: Classroom + hands-on practical training
Prerequisite: None (CPR training recommended but not required)
